Hick’s Law — quick decision making

Hick’s law states that the more options one has to decide between, the more time and effort it takes to make a decision. Imagine choosing between 100 different antibiotics or three antibiotics. Sometimes you need the choice complexity, sometimes you just need a simple choice presented to you that you can make effectively and well. Lots of interesting implications for designing structures and environmental nudges to improve high-pressure decision making.
